My rifle permit was finally approved even though I had submitted it 5 months ago to bring my Remington to New Zealand along with the ammunition.
I am all packed and ready to meet up with our guide/outfitters from Real Kiwi Hunting Outfitters, on the South Island Of New Zealand this week to hunt Tahr I met up with them in camp in Colorado last year. Mike Biemond and I created a friendship and decided to work together on some marketing work.
We are teaming up with longtime friends Bruce & Becky Hunnicutt from Texas. I will be meeting them at the Christchurch Airport... so stay tuned for more updates soon.
After our hunt, Bruce & Becky are returning to Australia with me and spending time at home with our families and of-course our resident Wallabies on the Gold Coast Queensland, and some local sightseeing.
